Made by Hand Art Exhibition

The Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts (BACCA) presents

an exhibition of art crafted with your own two hands: sculptures, models, and miniatures.

A completed submission includes both filling out the form on this page and emailing required materials.

Details:

This exhibition celebrates three-dimensional constructed works, worlds, objects, and figures  (traditional / experimental sculptures, miniatures, gaming models, model kits, dioramas, dollhouses, and architectural / world environments). Display & Security

Due to the detailed and often small-scale nature of the works in this exhibition, the organizers reserve the right to determine a more appropriate display method to ensure the safety of the artwork and the viewing experience.

Artists submitting particularly delicate, small-scale, or multi-part works are encouraged to consider secure mounting methods, display bases, or protective covers. Please provide their own display cases or protective enclosures if desired.

All works in the exhibition will be display-only, and clearly noted to the public as such.

To protect the integrity of the artworks, visitors will not be permitted to handle the pieces. Any works designed for interaction must be clearly identified and approved by the exhibition organizers prior to installation.

The exhibition organizers will reasonably care for the handling and display of all accepted works. However, artists are responsible for ensuring that their work is stable, properly mounted, and safe for public exhibition to their satisfaction. Artists are encouraged to maintain personal insurance coverage for their work if desired.

Artists whose works require specific installation instructions, display supports, or assembly must provide clear written guidance at the time of delivery.

The exhibition organizers reserve the right to adjust the placement or display method of accepted works in order to ensure safety, visibility, and the overall presentation of the exhibition.

Artist Agreement

By submitting work to BACCA’s virtual art exhibition, artists agree to allow the accepted works and submitted documentation to be used for publicity and for educational and archival purposes. Artworks may be shared on social media platforms with the artist’s credit. Artists will retain the rights to their work published on the BACCA website and platforms. Entry to the exhibition constitutes agreement to all conditions.
