CELEBRATION OF THE ARTS

In 2019 BACCA held its first Celebration of the Arts at the BACCA Arts Center in Lindenhurst. 

This event replaced BACCA's traditional Harvest Moon Gala, while continuing to bring together

members of the community and showcasing the art, music, theatre and culture

that BACCA strives to present to the residents of the Town of Babylon.

THE SENATOR OWEN H. JOHNSON LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Each year the board of the Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts chooses to honor

an outstanding person in our community who has shown a deep commitment to the arts 

in the Town of Babylon with the Senator Owen H. Johnson Lifetime Achievement Award.​

The 2019 recipient was Supervisor Rich Schaffer.
