Call to Artists

Create a design to commemorate BACCA’s 50th Anniversary!

 

BACCA is celebrating 50 years of bridging communities through art and culture in 2024.

To celebrate this special year, we invite BACCA Members to create a commemorative design that represents BACCA. 

 

All submitted designs (following submission and formatting guidelines) will be featured in an online gallery. 

 

A limited number of selected designs may be prominently displayed in printed materials, on the BACCA website, or on commemorative merchandise such as shirts, bags, mugs, books, cards, etc. 

 

Artists are encouraged to incorporate or reimagine the BACCA logo in their design. Logo files are available to upon request. It is not required to use official BACCA logo files in your design.

Requirements:

Artists need to be a member of BACCA to submit their work.

All submissions must be sent as an email by January 21st, 2024 at 11:59PM.

There is no limit to the number of designs artists may submit.

Submission Deadline: January 21st, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST

 

Submission Details:

Images of your work must be high-resolution, clear, properly cropped and sized. Please make sure that your work is the only thing visible in the image. All submitted images must be a minimum of 2000 pixels (height and width) in a JPG or PNG format. If you would like advice or have questions about the presentation or formatting of your images, please contact us at the BACCA office.

*If you require BACCA logo files for your design, please contact us directly at info@babylonarts.org and we will provide them to you in your requested format.


Details:

For each submission, please include the following information in your email body:
1. Artist Name

2. Title of Work (If Applicable)

3. Media

6. Optional: Artwork description (less than 140 characters).

7. Optional: Your social media handles (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook).

Artist Agreement

By submitting works to the “Call for Commemorative Designs” artists agree to allow the accepted artworks to be used for publicity, fundraising, and archival purposes. Artworks may be shared on social media platforms to the artist's credit. 

Submissions that do not adhere to specified guidelines may be disqualified.
