Fine Arts at BACCA

BACCA provides local artists with a variety of opportunities to help them create, learn new techniques, and display their work. From juried competitions to local exhibitions, helping our art community to thrive is one of our most important goals.

Artists from all across the Long Island and Metro areas are invited to enter The Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts (BACCA's) 24th Annual Judged Art Exhibition which will take place in June. The show will be held at the Old Town Hall at 47 West Main Street, Babylon, New York.

This competition is open to all Artists working in the following mediums:
    Mixed Media
Students A (Grades 5, 6, 7 and 8)
    Students B (Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12)

The selected pieces will then be displayed and judged throughout the week. Should an Artist wish to sell their work, a price list will be set up and distributed to the public during viewing times.

The Awards Reception is open to the public, and Artists are invited to extend an invitation to their friends and families. Cash prizes and ribbons will be awarded to the winning artists.

For further information, please call the BACCA office at: (631) 587-3696.

The Rotating Arts Program is designed to provide artists with different business venues for display each month. Bacca artists will bring and hang their work at participating businesses on the first day of the month. The artist’s work is then given exposure to different audiences in the community.
